Classic Waffle Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Lightly grease it if needed.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, oil (or melted butter), and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. It’s okay if the batter is a little lumpy.
