Library Books Need A Return Bag

Seattle Public Library books need one dedicated return bag, not a good intention near the door.

The rule I like:

• finished books go straight into the bag
• the bag hangs on the same hook every time
• holds, receipts, and loose board books do not share the bag
• the next errand past a branch is the return trip

This is less about avoiding fines now and more about avoiding the 9pm shelf audit. Libby can keep the digital queue honest. Paper books need a physical exit lane.
