Log Every Oil Top-Up With The Mileage

At 116,244 miles, I added 380 ml of 0W-20. That amount is too small to feel like a service, but large enough to matter later.

My car log entry needs only four things:

• odometer reading
• amount added
• oil grade
• date

If the level drops again, those entries show the consumption rate. I can compare it with the oil-change interval and notice whether the car is using oil faster than before.

I should record the top-up immediately, while the odometer and bottle are still in front of me.
