Make A Small Poetry Collection For Kindle Scribe

I wanted ten approachable poems on my Kindle Scribe, not ten browser tabs or a PDF with tiny fixed pages. A small EPUB was the better format.

My version has:

• a table of contents
• one poem per chapter
• reflowable text that follows the Scribe’s font settings
• full text for public-domain poems
• reading links for copyrighted poems

That last distinction matters. Eight of the ten poems could go directly into the EPUB. “Still I Rise” and “The Peace of Wild Things” stay as links to legitimate online copies.

The result is a focused collection I can open from the Kindle library without turning it into a large ebook project.
