Syncthing Makes A Good Laptop Handoff Folder

I already use Syncthing between two MacBooks. A single Handoff folder is the part I need most: drop in a PDF, a Markdown note headed for Obsidian, or a few photos, then pick it up on the other laptop.

Both machines keep local copies, so the folder still works without a browser upload. After I use a file, I move it to its permanent home or delete it. The folder stays small enough that I can immediately see when a transfer has stalled.
