Telegram Saved Messages Makes A Trip Clipboard

Telegram’s Saved Messages works better than a notes app for short trips because it is already where the last-minute messages land.

For a day out, I can drop everything into one thread:

• Washington State Ferries screenshot
• parking zone number
• library hold pickup barcode
• Costco receipt photo
• trailhead map screenshot
• one line for the thing that must come back home

The trick is to make the thread boring before leaving. Pin the message if it matters. Put the barcode or reservation screenshot last so it opens without searching. Delete the pile afterward.

I still like Obsidian for real notes. This is different. It is a pocket clipboard for the messy two-hour window when leaving the house takes more state than the outing itself.
