Woodland Park Zoo Parking Needs A Backup
Woodland Park Zoo is close enough that it looks like an easy Seattle outing. The trap is pretending the parking plan ends at “drive there.”
My checklist now:
- Check the zoo lot first, but do not circle it twice.
- If it is full, bail to street parking north of the zoo instead of improvising in traffic.
- Pack the stroller like the walk from the car is part of the visit, not a failure case.
- Put the return route in the phone before going inside. Tired exits are bad at navigation.
This is the difference between a nice animal morning and twenty minutes of everyone getting annoyed before the first penguin.
